problem with dvdram

hello i have problem with my dvd ram HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H42N is unable to detect cd when i load them but it is working perfectly with dvd's i dont no what gone wrong but im experiencing this problem when i had install ultaiso and magic iso both of them and i had tried to erase rewritable cd with ultraiso and in same time i had tried to erase it with nero after some i had closed nero through taskmanager and unfortunately not a single is getting detected please help me...

Did you try a new drive?

As the drive ages you see failures like that. A new drive is usually the cure as there is no one that repairs drives.

no i havnt replaced it because its just 13month old drive
