Problem with connecting my MP3 player to my computer

Aug 8, 2005 3:35AM PDT

So I'm sitting here with my MP3 player all set up with the USB connected, I've installed all the software, read the instruction manual (not an easy task, I think they were translated from the Chinese by a person with no previous encounters with either English or Chinese) and just as I open the software to add some tracks to my MP3 player I get the nice message of 'No Find MP3 Player!'

I've tried connecting and reconnecting it, re installing the software, everything I can think of and this still keeps coming up. Help me! I can't live on the two sample tracks forever.

Now here's another problem I have. I won the MP3 player in a competition and I can't find anything on the instructions or anything to say what make it is. The best that I can offer is that the instruction manual has 'U-Disk Music Player' written on it, the MP3 player itself has 'Digital MP3 player' and 'MP3 Player OVR' written on it and the two pieces of software come on a small pink disk and are called 'MP3 Player Format 2.0' and 'Sound Convertor 2.0'. The MP3 player is 128mb.

If you need to see what the MP3 player itself looks like I can take a picture of it.

Please help me! It's my first MP3 player and because of this stupid problem I can't even use it. Sad
