Question

Problem with connecting cam and installing apps

by Krisuuu / January 20, 2018 9:33 AM PST

Hello.
First thing - this is my first post. I'm looking for help to use my android phone as webcam by connecting it via USB.
Second thing, the problem is:
I find a way to use my phone camera as web camera by using DroidCam soft. Ok, so I installed that app on my android phone, and another one on my PC (Windows 8.1). I cannot connect via USB couse it screams "No devices detected".
Okay, I found the sollution that I must download and install the BlueStacks soft. So I have download propably the 0.8 version and in the middle of installing (sorry for my bad english) my computer restart by itself. Now I cannot finish the installation couse install app says that I've already that soft, and I cannot upgrade to new version (I get a message I've new version already).
The point is that in the solution about Droidcam I must run that Bluesomthingshit to get it working. I cannot, couse it's not install on my computer (the folder have ~800mb, but it should have 2gb), I cannot uninstall it couse I don't have that application on list of instaled apps.
Can somebody help me with this? Or how to connect ASUS ZenFone (X00AD, android ver 6.0.1) via USB to laptop to get working webcam?
Cheers and thanks you.
