Problem with comp...

sup guys... im in need of ur assistance again... lol... this morning when i turned on my comp... well tried too... i got the bios screen & it stays there... 4 ever doing nothing... the yellow light below the green 1 on the front of the comp... stays on with no flashing or blinking... i tried pressing the "delete" button to enter the bios setup... & after about 4 or 5 mins... the bios set up page appears... i tried changing the boot setup too boot from the cd rom... i re-started it but nothing happens... is there a setting so i can kind of reset everything?... as always ur help its very appreciated... any ideas, tips, help?... thx...

windows xp pro 64 bits...

Have you done a CLEAR CMOS ? How old is the CMOS

battery ? Might be worth replacing it (usually a CR2032) if its more than a couple of years old.

Hey man what happen with your PC... did you fix it?
I happen to agree that the problem could be on the BIOS batteries or something else. How long have you been using this PC?

sorry i didnt answer sooner... i followed a ti... by letting my comp ""take a break for a couple of days"" & i also change the internal battery... & when i turned it on it worked like nothing happened... so i guess it was the battery that it was running low on juice... i build it a couple of years back... thx to all that help me... again...
