Problem with CNET "bio" re: forum posts - Moderator please

Nov 15, 2006 3:13AM PST

HELP !!!!!!!!!

My bio (profile)is correct except for "My Forum" Posts. The only posts it shows I made are all in the speakeasy forum to which I have never posted. Clicking the links refers to other CNET user names with Paul in them such as Paul C.

For example, My post 3 of 9:in response to a Post by Prandy as follows:

(NT) It went down fine for me. NT see my review.

IE 7.0 - WOW - all these complaints; Too much time spent.

After hearing all the bad news about IE7.0, I reset my automatic updates so they send a message but do not download and install. I figure it will take at least six months for them to get it correct. I plan to install all other critical updates. Have I done the correct thing ?

I emailed one forum moderator but never got a response. Can this be fixed? I have made several posts but cannot find them in my own "bio."

Hi, Paul
Nov 15, 2006 3:37AM PST

Since this is a new forums upgrade for the software, there are still many glitches that are being worked on. I reported a new one this morning myself when I found it.

Our normal person to report the glitches to (Lee Koo) is off right now on personal business, and the person covering for him is doing double duty with Lee's job and his own, so some glitch fixes will take longer than others.

Hang in there...we're all feeling your pain, honest. Hopefully some more stuff will be fixed soon. I think the profile problem is one that's already been reported as being out of kilter. I'm just not sure where the fix is on their priority list.
