Well basically install the new MB, Then do a repair install of XP with you CD. If all goes well XP will then want to reactivate it's self. You will have install the new MB drivers. Here are some sites that may help you. John

i want to change a new motherboard. the bios is different.
i use the same old hard disks with data. is it possible to start the windows xp system on the new motherborad? if not,how. how can i keep the data disks with the new motherboard? help me please. thanks
