I checked Google and the knowledge base at Microsoft. No mention of the file name. But google did come up with a "hijackthis" log that came had this file mentioned. Sorry, can't say what it said...it was in German. So..at this point I would say that if your system is otherwise running fine, leave it alone.
You could try this. Right click the file name. Go to properties and see if the read-only box has a check mark. If it does, clear it and try deleting it then.
and life goes on...
The following file is in my C drive: C:\WINDOWS\system32\1scenichp.exe=>(Sfx file). My virus protection (Bitdefender 8 Standard) detects it every time however it tells me that my computer is NOT infected. Which I believe!! It is not a virus or SPYWARE as all the rest of such detectors, when applied, do not report it as spyware. I can not DELETE it, Copy it, MOVE it, IGNORE it or otherwise do anything with/to it. It just sits there!!! Please help! I thought I knew a bit about files and computers, but this little file is just too much for me...
I am running WindowsXP SP2 Home Edition on an HP Pavillion 762n computer, with a 2.26 ghz processor, and 1GB ram. Other than the problem stated above, the computer is fine
