At the top posts called sticky posts. There is some material there for you about this. There are all of 3 parts not including cables in play so let's never assume the inverter board is good. The red shift is known when the CCFL tubes are old or damaged. I can't see the display to call it but at least the red shift is known.
Good luck,
Bob
Hi!
May be someone can help me.
I have Acer Aspire 5610. Problem is connected with LCD display's backlight - it doesn't function. From forums I got to know that 99,9% is damaged LCD invertor. I found it in ebay, replaced damaged, but there was another surprise. Monitor backlight was in dark dull red, slightly blinked, and after about 2 minutes it turned off again. And more - when backlight was on, there was some strange, silent crackling sound, coming from inverter. Where else can I check to solve this problem?
Thanks!
