Question

Problem w/ picture w/ Samsung 55" 6 series 6003

by Zosimmar / December 9, 2011 11:55 PM PST

We expected to see movie theater-like images. Instead, the picture, which does pop, appears to look more like a video (think day-time soap opera). We have played with the picture portion but the "video" feel is still there. What looks great when watching sports is jarring when watching a movie or TV show. We do watch in HD mode. Is there something that we have not tried. Would the picture look better in 60 hz and is there a way to toggle back and forth from 240 hz to 60 if this is the answer? Or do we take advantage of the 30 day return policy?

While it's pretty good, today's sets can't compete with real film.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
