When a directory holds a few too many hundred files. Some programs begin to fail such as yours and the saved BMPs don't save. Today it's not uncommon for such software to suppress such an error since it would confuse the user.
Hope you check your directories for this issue.
I wish to extract certain frames from mpeg files. I use #1 Video Converter to extract frames to .BMP files. This normally works. Now I have 2 mpeg files from which #1 Video Converter indicates it extracted .BMPs but I can't find them on my machine. Not in folder I indicated. Were these mpegs coded wrong? Are they not mpegs? Even so, the program should have automatically detected the coding and extracted to .BMPs. What's going on here? How do I extract from these mpegs? Thanks much
