Problem uninstalling Adobe reader vs 81.7.

by sub105 / May 14, 2010 2:31 AM PDT

Tried to uninstall Adobe reader as I have switched to Foxit reader. During the uninstall process I received the following message.
"The batch program could not be opened. Verify that it exists."
Checked on-line and found that I needed 'ADBERDR813_EN_US.MSI'.
Downloaded it and tried again. Same message appeared.
Any suggestions how to get rid of this Reader on my computer.

A lot of times when you run into problems like this, reinstalling the app will then allow you to uninstall it.

I was able to uninstall the reader using Revo. Even though Revo came up with the message module not found it did uninstall the reader.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
