problem transferring wma to MP3 Player

by scousemouse167 / January 10, 2007 12:43 AM PST

Hi I've recently bought a Matsui 2GB MP3 Player and also been ripping CDs onto Windows Media Player for the XP. So Far I've transferred just over 300 tracks to my MP3 Player and used up nearly half of my storage space.

The problem is when I come up to 1000 MB left as shown on bottom right corner of computer screen when transferring tracks from Windows Media Player to my MP3 Player, every track I attempt to transfer comes up in red lettering as either cancelled or An Error Occurred.

I know that I'm using an old Windows Media Player but I'm wondering would installing a later version help in solving this problem as I've no other reason to think of, for this problem.

Any Help would be appreciated as I would like to get the full use out of my MP 3 Player, Thank You.
