Question

Problem today in scanning WhatsApp's "QR" Code

Jun 12, 2018 12:20PM PDT

Having highly preferred accessing WhatsApp on my PC rather than on my Android smartphone, I have been doing so for some time.

Once in a while the "phone connection" gets disconnected and the remedy has been to scan on my smartphone a "QR" code supplied by WhatsApp Web on my PC. I have applied that remedy many times in the past, but today the scanning remedy is not working at all for a long time.

The only thing I have been suspecting is that the WhatsApp Web itself has a problem in not being able to scan the "QR" code.

Any ideas other than my just waiting for an unknown time and hoping that later the scanning might be successful?

Thanks!

Thank you, Bob, for your prompt response.

I took another shot to see if the scanning properly occurs in Firefox, which I usually use. (I don't have Opera installed in my PC.)

Lo and behold, the scanning did properly occur this time. (I had unsuccessfully tried earlier the same thing probably two dozen times.)
