Problem showing pictures with my HT-C5550

I've recently bought a new HT from Samsung. But I've got some problems when it comes to looking att pictures from a connetced external harddrive (USB 2.0), the pictures are in .jpg format. When I start a slideshow the most of the pictures works as they should and shows up even though the player is pretty slow at showing the pictures. But with some pictures I get an error messages that says that the picture format is not suported (even thoug it's just an regular .jpg).
This happens randomly with pictures and if I restart the player it happens with different pictures, the non working pictures varies in size to, everything from 1mb - 6mb.
So I wonder, is it just that the player is too slow or is it something I can adjust?
It shouldn't be that it is to slow because I've played .mkv files (9GB in size) from the external harddrive without any problems.

Thanks in advance
