and any other firewalls would have to be turned off or LAN traffic allowed.
While your at it check the IP and subnet addresses to make sure there in the same ballpark.
I am trying to set up a home network, I have a PC running xp pro connected to a linksys wrt54g router via cat5, and a laptop running xp home connected to the router via wirelss connection. I ran the network setup wizard on my PC and then on my laptop but I am unable to share any files or my printer. I have already made sure to check file sharing and printer sharing in the firewall expceptions part but still no luck. the router is hooked up to a cable modem and both computers can access the internet just fine. Any help would be great thx.
