Problem installnig OS with new mobo setup..

Ok..now that i put the motheboard and everything in the OS was not laoding so i reformated and now i cannot install my OS (windows ME) when i try it iether gets to a point where it says copying files needed to install windows iether stops thier, or restarts for some reason. OR sometrhines i get something that says
PXE-E61 MEdia test failuer, Check cables, can anyone help me pls, im pretty new at this computer building thing.

I think your system is trying to boot from a network device. Remove PXE from the boot sequence and try again. Good luck

That selection of parts is hard on new PC builders.

Try:

1. Just one stick of RAM.
2. The BIOS must be the latest available. Some resist this effort thinking "its a new board, why should it need this?" or are unaware of changes the board maker did to either fix a timing bug or support that CPU.
3. The power supply is undersized or stressed. With that big a video card plus CD/DVD drives, and what else, my minimum is alwasy 450 Watts since this is the foundation of stability. You can read http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20021021/ and see that many 450 Watt supplies didn't deliver the full rated power. Same story for lesser (like 350 Watt) supplies.
4. Set the BIOS to its slowest, safest settings. i.e. Instead of 266 MHz for the FSB, 200. Or 100 instead of 133. Stability first.
