Problem Initialising DirectDraw

Oct 20, 2004 12:51AM PDT

Hi all. Need help here.

I installed PC version of Halo (haol 2 is coming..hurray!)

Installation was successful but when I tried to run the game, the folowwing message appeared:
A Problem occurred initialising directdraw. hardware acceleration maybe disabled, please run Dxdiag

I did that, dowloaded Directx9.0c, ran it, but still got the same message.

Inside Dxdiag, I got the following info:
Directdraw acceleration, direct 3d and AGP texture acceleration Not available.

What should I do? I suspect I need a video card, but not sure.If so, which and what to get?

To those who replied, thanks man. Have a nice day!

My PC info are:
Compaq Presario
Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz
632 MB RAM
