Question

Problem in Setting up IPTV with Netgear D7000

Hi,

I recently bought Netgear D7000 (ADSL Modem + Router). Internet works fine but the problem is IPTV vpi and vci settings are disabled when i select the iptv from drop down menu.

My ISP provides STB Box that attach through Ethernet into modem and different vpi/vci settings for both internet and iptv.

Internet: (VPI-0 VCI-103)
IPTV: (VPI-0 VCI-35)

But in netgear panel it only allows me to set it for internet. Don't know why because my ISP default modem (D-Link DSL-2750U) has this feature. And its much cheaper one as compared to netgear.

If its not possible through netgear so, is there a way i can attach this d-link modem as secondary and use it for iptv only?

Thanks
