Problem hdcp handshaking with my dvdo and ps3..

Aug 31, 2009 9:34PM PDT

Dear Sirs,

I have a problem with my newly bought (five months ago) Samsung LE48a856s1, which is chained with a Dvdo Iscan HD+ and a PS3 as a bluray player. Recently, the tv has gone to technical assistance for a motherboard change that wasn't working anymore and just a few days before this trouble the tv had already begun having problems handshaking hdcp with the dvdo, problems that are still present even now that the tv has returned home.

It's not that it doesn't handshake anymore, it does from time to time, after, to make an example, having switched off and on the ps3, or the tv or the dvdo.

Moreover, when the signal can't be handshaked, the dvdo behave strangely with the power on off button not switching from power on and off, as it is supposed to do, but switching from flashing green light (display not hdcp synchronized) and with the tv saying the right resolution above left but with a blue screen and a fixed green light but without any signal recognized from the tv..

Anyone knows what's happening?

I can add that the ps3 works perfectly when cabled directly to the tv and that dvdo works perfectly with other outputs, from component to svhs.

I really can't have anymore ideas and nobody seems willing or to be in a position to help me.
Please forgive, since I'm italian, my awful english and thanks in advance to anyone for the help...

Regards,

Michele.
