Problem editing Wikipedia

by iltcm! / June 16, 2009 6:42 AM PDT

Whenever I click "Edit this page" or create a new page in Wikipedia, I just download a PHP file and nothing else happens. I don't know if this is a browser problem or what. When I click on the section-wide "Edit" button, I get taken to the editing page. What can I do to prevent the file download and be able to actually edit an entire page or create a new one?

I'm currently using Safari 4 for mac.

Like I said, I don't know if this is a browser issue, if it is not, then can an admin move this to the proper forum?

To figure out if it's a browser problem...

... I suggest that you install some other browser and test with it.

i.e. Firefox.

It was just a setting in my account preferences: I had "Use external editor" checked.

DIfficulty Posting in Wikipedia
by angelrcordero / July 6, 2009 5:05 AM PDT

I wrote an article and it is saved in my Wikipedia account. I already met the hybernation period (ten edits and 4 days). How do I move the article to be viewed by all and searchable?

Thanks

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
