Question

Problem converting and using MP3+G

Aug 29, 2015 3:05AM PDT

This is one of the downloads I got from sunfly
https://www.hightail.com/dl?phi_action=app/orchestrateDownload&rurl=https://www.hightail.com/transfer.php?action=batch_download&send_id=2796552922&email=be05d230a9fbdd9fb286f4d600665f2b&s=19105&cid=tx-02002208350200000000

This too came from sunfly
http://www.sunflykaraoke.com/content/karaoke-software/44575360/
Its the drivers needed to run MP3+G

With the driver installed. If you download the first link and then unzip the folder, it plays A video and music
Which is exactlly what it is exactlyto do.

Nsupposedext step is to burn the file to a CD. I use this program https://cdburnerxp.se/en/home to burn my disks and have never had any problem with it until now.

I can burn the files to disk using the 'data disk' method and the disk dose burn.
But when I play the disk from my pc I get visual and no sound
When I play the disk from a CD player in a car the disk comes up as error

I have contacted the tec team at sunfly but I am not getting much of a responce from them
Any help please

Check the specs of the CD-player in your car. Most likely it only plays an 'audio-cd'. That's a well-defined format and different from a 'data disk'.

If that data disk contains the same files in the same folder structure that plays on the PC you make that disk and that plays them fromt the hard disk, the PC should play them for the cd also. An experiment: copy the contents of the CD to a new folder on your PC and try to play from there. Does it work?

Actually they where work trucks and a different one each day
I was under the impassion that the CD+G format would play on anything. i.e Karaoke machine CD player or laptop/ PC
The 'CD burner XP' will not allow me to burn these CDs as video or audio

As I said the PC plays them fine when off the HDD but not from the CD
And the CDs are just a copy of the HDD so the file can't be a problem
I can only see it being the burning driver 'CD burner XP' that is not burning them correctly

Just tried your experiment, copy from CD to HDD and no it dose not work (it dose not play sound)

Did you or anyone hear try downloading the links I provided and seen if you could of played them OK by any chance

So you copy from the hd (#1, works) to the cd (#2, doesn't work) to another folder on the same hd (#3, doesn't work). Then #3 it isn't an exact copy of #1., or you need to copy more than you did. Your task now is to find the differences and correct them.

Ahh, the AudioCD and cars and trucks question.

Once you make your AudioCD it doesn't always play in all cars in trucks. It's not you!

I'll share ONE THING then give a link.

1. (thing) Record on CDR at 2X speed. Seems to help.
