Problem capturing frames

I use a proggie called Pic Cutter to capture frames from a video. Saves frames as .BMP files; info indicates files as approximately 195 KB. But when I try to view & edit files via IrfanView or Photoshop I just get a blank (black) screen. What's going on? How do I fix it. How can I see what I've captured? Thanks a bunch. Sid Waine

To get that capture to work you need to decelerate the video
