Your problem seems to be less with Windows and more with the unknown program. Ok, so what's the program?

My answer
the program name is championship manager 01/02.
I have windows Xp,pentium 4 2.8ghz and whem i try to start it says this:
cm0102.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

AppName: cm0102.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: cpuinf32.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00001b9c

Any suggestions?

xztrazil-Since your using Windows-XP more then likely all you really need to do is reinstall the operating system.Insert your xp operating system disc and follow the instructions formatting to either fat 32 or to ntfs. I use NTFS. You may need to reistall drivers afterward to the peripherals installed on your machine.

There are only a few answers to this issue. One the program may be incompatible to this system. Two, your program may be corrupted, and will not reinstall with the current files you saved, try a fresh installation of it.
