problem

I have a JVC GR-D70U digital camcorder and when I turn the camcorder on I have a Back screen with line running vertical. What would be the problem?

Very few to none have repaired such. They end up at a service center or replacing the camera. It's not a setting that is out of whack.

It was working great the day before and the next thing I know I turn it back on and it shows that.

a. A broken connection.
b. A failed chip or component.

It is not something an owner usually can repair.
