ProAvio dvBox issue

by Fabu00 / September 23, 2008 12:29 AM PDT

I have a brand new Pro Avio dvBox external hard drive that will not work.

It has several interface. USB and firewire are the two I've tried.
I have tried it on three seperate Windows running machines (one vista, two xp)
and all have the same results under both interface.

The hard disk powers up with its glowing blue light but does not become recognized in the operating system. There are no pop ups or signs of it in device management. Furthermore, there were no drivers that have come with it (which was advertised) and the website offers a whopping 0% help in support because they 1.) do not have the support pages built and 2.) do not respond to emails.

if anyone has any ideas or suggestions i would greatly appreciate th

by XP disk management so you can partition, format and activate it? Only then will it be seen by My Computer.

Just saying "the OS" without telling what parts of the OS isn't really informative. Disk management is an integral part of the OS.
