When you save your work, the program does not save the .jpg photos.
It only saves the location of the photo files.
It is OK to use .jpg files with ProShow Gold.
If you make a DVD from your slide show, be sure to check the box that lets you add a copy of the original photos to the DVD.
That way, you and your friends will have access to the original photos as well as the DVD slide show.
Just put the DVD in a DVD reader drive on a computer and use Windows Explorer. You will find a folder with all the photos.
The program tells us to frequently save our project.
If Iam using Jpegs for my picture file type, Are they getting compressed every time I save?
I just bought the program and wonder if it is ok to use Jpegs. Thanks, shutterbug
