I'll not explain why it does that but skip to how to capture such.
1. Many DVD player softwares have a capture or snap picture function. That's the best way.
2. Disable GRAPHICS ACCELERATION in your OS. How? Please google those 3 words. Now the screen capture will work. Turn it back on when done.
This may be tough to decribe, but I'll try my best...
I'm trying to capture a still from a dvd & then edit it down in Paint.
Problem is, when I choose "Select" to isolate the image I want to cut out, it doesn't quite...."stay". It's like after I cut it out, it moves as if you're looking at it through a telescope or a pair of binoculars. In other words, the image I *want* doesn't 'move' when I move the selected area around.
& if that wasn't annoying enough, whenever I *think* I've got it right, & try posting it on Flickr, all I see is a black screen.
