can anyone assist me with my problem...
i'm tring to design a report in microsoft access without any borders.
i change the page margins in page setup to zero and click on ok, but when i back to page setup, some default values are still there instead of the zero's i had typed in earlier.

This is defined by the printer.

Not a function of Office or Access. Tell about the printer.

No borders...

Tell what you mean by "No borders". When you set the margins to "0", did Office warn you that the document will not print properly (or words to that effect), and to reset, or to ignore the warning ? There is always an area of about 2mm around the edge of the paper which will not have any thing printed. However, some printers can be set to "borderless" printing where the whole paper is printed, i.e. without the 2mm border. This usually applies to printing graphics...

no borders

no access does not give me any sort of error...it just automatically puts in some default values without informing me that zero's in the page border are not allowed..

the printer i use is lexmark t630..

And that's the way it should be. It aren't "some default values", it are the minimum margins your printer allows. Back to the shop then to buy the printer you need for your application. Or redesign the output layout so it's compatible with your current printer.

It's more perverse than that.

In this case WINDOWS and printer drivers are in play and it's not an issue or feature of Access we need to address.

Too bad you didn't answer my query.

This Lexmark does not print borderless.
