Printing problems in Word

Oct 11, 2007 1:58AM PDT

Hi,

I am having problems when printing in word. We use a database calles "1st software, Advisor Office", this datbase creates Letters and exports them to Word. Whe the arrive in Word they look fine but as soon as i print all the characters seem to get bunched on top of each other at the left hand side of the page, and this is how it prints off.

I have contacted 1st software and they know of the problem but have no idea what causes it or how to resolve the issue.

Any of you techy types fancy getting one up on a big company!?

If it's a known fault with the software

then you're pretty much stuck until they fix it.

Has anyone in their forums suggested a workaround? I assume they have a web support site with customer forums.

Possible workarounds.

1. Copy/paste to a new document
2. Save as .rtf, then reopen
3. Save as .txt, then reopen and apply all formatting again (it might be possible to do that with a macro).

How is Print Preview?
