Question

printing pictures

Jul 2, 2015 9:01AM PDT

In printing a color picture in glossy,a strange thing happened. I adjusted the print quality to “best” and then must have done something else because when I started to print a questionnaire appeared asking me what brand of photo paper I was using, what quality of picture I was using, what size of paper I was using, etc, etc.
Anyway the print turned out dazzling , it was large, with vivid colors, etc.
I don’t know what I did to produce the questionnaire, but I want to reproduce it whenever I print a photo. WHAT DID I DO TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN-HELP-tell me how to reproduce it
Thanks, Larry

I've never seen such, but my guess is HP is the source

My printers are Canon and Samsung, and I can tell you I've never seen a survey like you describe. So, I'd say we can rule those two manufacturers out, and again say the survey is most likely coming from HP. When/if you get that survey again, note the URL (web address), and that should tell you with certainty where it's coming from. You could also ask HP about it, since your printer is made by them.
`
Good luck.

What was the address of the place asking?

Also what is the make & model of your printer. It seems highly likely that the manufacturer of your printer is behind that survey, but as Bob points out, we can't be specific without your details.

Answer
without seeing

without seeing the page you are talking about, it is near impossible to guess. sounds almost like you were setting up a template. when you go back into settings, do you still have to reset all the settings or when you change to best, the other settings are now default? What operating system? do you have any type of printing app or software installed?
