Question

Printing maps on laser printer that are dark enough to see

Sep 26, 2018 4:45PM PDT

I did some googling on this and I don't think there is a really good solution for printing street maps from the net that are dark enough to see the streets well. Bing maps is a slight improvement over Google maps and mapquest. So does anyone know of a way to print maps from the net that are dark enough to see the streets? In my case I'm using Canon D530 laser printer.

Have you tried making the print darker?

Yes, I adjusted the quality but it didn't help.

I can only think you will have to put it into PDF, hope Inkscape at https://ninite.com/ will open it and let you darken it there. OR put it into ZAMZAR.COM to convert the PDF to JPEG and then darken it in your choice of editors.

-> Frankly I think I'd just stop by AAA and get a map.
