Printing envelopes on Epson NX300

Mar 4, 2011 3:15AM PST

I need to print custom size (8 1/2 x 6") envelopes through Word. If I load the envelopes into the printer with the flap facing left or right, the address prints near the top of the envelope and the return address doesn't print at all. If loaded with the flap at the top or bottom, the text prints the wrong direction. I'm printing on an Epson NX300 and the guide only moves from left to right, so I can't center the envelopes and print. I thought that the envelope size might be causing a problem with this model of printer, so I changed the setting to a standard No. 10 envelope size and moved the text around. Everything would be printing fine that way, but it's inserting a 2-inch margin on the left side (Word has it set at 0.4" and the text is all the way at the left edge). Any ideas?

Which Word?

And just so we know, some of Microsoft's Service Realeases and Service Packs for Word address this issue.
