Printing Adobe Illustrator

Dec 1, 2005 5:01AM PST

My logo (created in Adobe Illustrator) prints accurate colors on my inkjet, however on my laserjet it doesn't.

My HP laser prints all other items from any other software accurately including brochures with color pictures.

The logo I print should have a tan background but comes out sage green. I have checked the printing menus and it is suppose to match screen. Also checked ink.

We use that PANTONE SPYDER to avoid such issues. Got one?

You could have a corrupted file or a conflict in cmyk versus rgb. I had a similar issue printing off business cards. My graphic was done on an apple using illustrator in that case and I was trying to print on a pc using Avery business card software. In my case it was enough to re-save the file and port back to the printer

try going back into illustrator and saving the original file in a different format. Check to see if your printer has problems with certain files and make sure your drivers are up to date.
