Printer won't print RED

Feb 22, 2005 1:50AM PST

What's going on guys, my question today deals with the Lexmark X5150 that I just purchased. I have been having trouble with it already. I installed everything according to their specs, via USB, and for some reason, the printer will not print a speck of red in any of the pictures. Now when I say any, I mean the test pages, the alignment pages, any pictures i want to print. I tried to print a red mustang from the NAIAS, and it was yellow. I am using Windows 2000, and I am pretty up to date on all updates from windowsupdate.com. Have any of you guys out there got any ideas on what could be going on? I'm sure that it's going to be suggested too, so I'll tell you, that I've already cleaned to nozzles with a damp towel, tried to reinstall the cartidges, and cleaned the nozzles on the troubleshooting window for Lexmark. Any help i could get would be great. Thanks guys

The best advice I can offer is not to monkey around with it. You risk voiding your warranty. Take it back.

PRINER WON'T PRINT RED

LEXMARK X5150 warranty recently expired for this All-In-One. I have replaced the 83 color cartridge several times but even wicking, cleaning the back and the inside cartridge holder doesn't help. Any red portion of document or photo prints yellow! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?
