Since, this has only been 30-days into the usage of the printer, it maybe better to contact for warranty repair. As any fixes on your part may void your warranty. Lexmark, may just send you a replacement prtr. if no good fix helps. It certainly sounds too serious, but appears a sensor maybe flaky or blocked. Even so, that suggests a blocked sensor or kaput one. The quicker you act on this warranty wise the better the response from vendor. Contact whoever, within 30-days the seller after that the maker.
I recently bought a Lexmark printer, Model NO. X5470. It worked great, scanned decent pictures, printed out nice quality, and did everything it was supposed to do. I've had for for a little under a month, and today, it started bugging out. I turned it on, and the ink catriges started slamming back and forth from each side of the printer, to the point the that printer started to shake/move. I'm not sure what I want to do, bring it back to the store, or trouble shoot it. If anyone knows about this printer, and things such as a reset on it, I'd love to try. Any suggestions would be helpful.
