Look at the Brother HC4120 or HC 4170, think they would do the job. Font size would be something you would set in the software from which you are going to pring, WORD/WORKS etc. I mentioned the two Brother printers because they are relatively inexpensive to purchase and to use. The main differences between the two is that the 4170 has network capability, wireless and hardwwire, should you require one or both of those features.
Hello everyone. I need your help from your experiences.
I'm planning to buy a printer. This printer only needs to have some basic functions. They are:
Most importantly, it has to be able to print very tiny font, crisp and clean, noticeable to the naked eye. For example, an "a" would be a bit bigger than the size of a ".". Preferably a 4 pt size.
I want to be able to make copies often. So I'm looking for a laser printer, or a laserjet.
It doesn't have to be in color. I really only need in black.
Preferably, I need it to be cheap. like below $300. If there is one that does the job for under $140, even better.
Toner must last at least 1000 pages.
Please help, I've been looking all over the internet, and read so many reviews, but most of the time, print quality is not mentioned. I wish there was a name for the small print ability. I know that DPI is basically something that describes that ability, but I just read this page where they explain that, it isn't DPI that makes the print clean but the technology used to print. So I'm stuck, because it's not something you can type on Google and get results.
But yeah, I need to print really small. Like those small books from bookstores that you need sometimes a magnifying glass to be able to read it, and it must be a laser or laserjet. Doesn't matter how long it takes to print, I'm looking for quality and not speed.
Oh! Also I plan to print on both sides of the paper. So after I print on one side, I would also like to print something else on the other side without the paper getting jammed.
If you know any laser or laserjet that has copy ability and scanner for low budget that does all this altogether, please don't hesitate to put the model. I'm planning to get rid of my old INK printer/copier/scanner -_-.
Thank you for your help. God bless you all! John 3:18
