As Just a Guess: How Important is the....

Zig-Zag Line up at Bank Teller or Airport check IN counter as opposed to everyone just piling up around the clerks' desk front??

I guess it depends whether you send to print only 1 item/job at a time for immediate printing or whether you send & save several jobs & THEN print all at once & whether you share the printer with other people/machines.

You suffer from the infamous spooling error/hang??? Just unplug & replug in the cable usually worked for me ( if refused to delete via normal channels).

Hopefully others will post their replies! Happy

Spooling

Spooling is simply the process of saving a print job to the hard disk before sending it to the printer. This has 3 benefits: After spooling, the application being used is "released" and users can continue working in that application while printing continues in the background. Spooling also ensures that print jobs are saved should there be a computer, application, or printer failure. Lastly, print spooling manages the routing of print jobs from clients to the print server. Spooling can be enabled on the Advanced tab of the printer's properties.
