...make sure that there is an admin user and password which are EXACTLY the same on all computers.. (DON'T user the default "administrator" login.) You may need to create a new user on some of the computers so that a common username/profile is available on all machines. Log in with the common admin user on all the machines. Once that's done, then share out the entire C: drive on the machine where the printer is installed and give EVERYONE full permissions.. Once that's done, then share the printer again with full permissions.. After that's done, you can remove the C: drive share if you choose or at least change it to an appropriate permissions state.
Hope this helps.

Ok, I setup an HP Photosmart 3300 series on my aunts Hp Vista Home Premium. I went under its properties and shared it without a password.
There are 4 other HP computers, two laptops running XP and two PC are running Vista HP. I was able to get all 4 PCs and Laptops to connect to the printer wirelessly through a Linksys wireless router.
3 months later the 4 wirelessly connect computers wont print anymore. It will print from the PC its connected to. I have checked all the sharing properties and its claims its shared. I can connect to the internet on all 5 computers..
I dont know what to do. I have tried to re-add the printers, but once I type in its location, it now asks for a username and password. My aunt swears shes never altred anything, and i dont seem to find any access settings on the PC the printer is attached to.
