Printer problem - printing last page to first page

Apr 24, 2005 7:49AM PDT

My printer prints from last page first backwards, even though the settings are set to print front to back. Can anyone explain?

Windows XP Pro. OS. The printer is an HP Officejet R40xi (all in one).

What? No SP1 or SP2 on XP?

That's a great clue. Probably one reason it doesn't work.

Also, no mention of the version printer drivers for the R50xi or if they are the latest from HP.

Please supply the details, but from my experience only the latest or else. And if the latest, call HP.

The printer is an older version of HP, bought about 3-4 years ago. Do you need more info?

You may need to update the printer driver from HP.

As to needing more info, yes. Asked for it, but the simple way out here is for you to just install the latest printer driver from hp.com
