I ran into a fellow that complained of this. The imprint showed the paper flap to be on the right but this poor fellow didn't like the the addressing looked to be upside down since the flap was pointing down to read the printing. When I noted the post office takes the envelope sealed and does not care if the flap was on the top or bottom he was still unsettled this was incorrect on the printer.
"Easy to fix" was my reply so I printed out a new sheet and put this over the area showing the envelop to show it how they wanted it.
The fellow was less than impressed with such a simple solution and went on to complain far and wide.

I have a Dell 5130cdn colour laser printer that I am trying to use with three Macs connected wirelessly in the house. Two computers use OS X Lion and the printer (while it works) has a number of issues. After each "print" I have to call up the printer and "cancel" the job manually and then"resume" the printer. Envelopes need to be put in the Manual Feed Tray the wrong way around (according to the graphics imprinted in the plastic cover). Dell claims it is Apple's problem; Apple claims that it is Dell's problem. I claim that after the kind of cash outlay, initial (earlier version) printer failure, and finally a replacement printer (the result of a very positive experience with the Better Business Bureau and some Dell officials who were suddenly very helpful and responsive) AND with printed material -at the time - perhaps a year ago now - claiming that the Dell printer would work with a Mac - that something is not right. My sense of good business ethics is making me do more than wonder if someone, somewhere along the line just neglected to mention that it wouldn't work with my computer and its Lion operating system. The "sin of omission" has surfaced yet again. Does anyone know if there is a printer driver that will allow a Dell colour laser 5130cdn printer to work with Mac Lion or if this, in the final analysis, was just a bad purchase? With (frustrated) thanks.
