Printer Alignment problem........

Hello, every time my printer shuts off and it gets turned back on, it automatically prints a test page and every time i boot up my computer(XP)a little window pops up asking me if i want to align the printer..... i have aligned the printer but the problem continues...any help on getting rid off these two problems would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't there some instruction in the book like this?

1. turn off printer
2. disconnect USB plug
3. turn on printer
4. test page will print
5. scan it
6. turn off printer
7. connect the USB plug
8. turn on printer

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
