The easiest way is to Print screen, (the Print Screen button on your keyboard).
With the Task Manager open, hold down the ALT key, then press Print Screen and this will copy the Task Manager only window as an image to yor clipboard.
Then open up Paint, (Start > All Programs > Accessories), or your favorite image editor, goto Edit, the click Paste, and the image will be copied to the Paint program. From there you can save it, or print it out as an image, (not as text).
I hope this helps.
I posted this query within a class response on CNET but I can not find it now sooooo---I will try here instead. I want to be able to print out a list of the processes listed on the Task Manager, so that I can compare them to a list of "needed" or not needed processes. Right now I have to either copy them all down by hand, or flip back and forth between website and task manager. When I right click on the task manager screen, printing is not an option. What do others of you do when checking on processes running, against a list of necessary processes? Thanks in advance.
