Print Server Problems

May 10, 2016 7:11AM PDT

I have a small office with three workstations and a "Server". On one of my workstations the printing from TOTAL by A LA Mode is terribly slow it prints three pages at a time and takes about 5 mins to print an appraisal report. I have downloaded new software and drivers and adjusted the print settings. I believe it has something to do with spooling but have no idea how to fix it. PLEASE HELP lol Thank you in advance.

Back to Total it seems.

If this was not just this title, I might have suggested ideas but has support so it's time to use them.

There are machines I see in the field that are just slow. Not much you can do for those since the owners want to use very old outdated PCs or load up heavy antivirus or something else.

Back to Total and why not tag your IT person to fix this?

The only problem with that is that alamode does not support direct printing they want you to print to PDF and then you can choose to print from there. This takes too much time in my line of work.

That was my idea too.

In fact the print to PDF would be how I would see where the time issue is.

Since they don't support direct printing, I unsure how to fix this unless you find a printer on the PC without using the network works faster.

Sorry to read your last post. It sounds like they need to fix their app.

Just a test

Try sending this report to the printer with and without spooling.
