I was wondering if someone might tell me how to use the print screen on the keyboard? Thanks in advance.

Pressing the PrtScrn key will copy whatever is on the screen at the time. It is copied to the Clipboard. To view the image you need to open Windows Paint. When it's opened click Edit, Paste. The screen image will be there. It will be in .bmp format, and can be a large file. It can be saved as another format depending your your OS.

To get PrtScrn to do what it says takes another program. When it's running and you press the PrtScrn button the image is routed directly to the printer. To get this free program go to my home page below, scroll down to Software, and download PrintNow.

Good luck,

MobileDiscJockey,

Similar, but just a little different than Wayne's method:

On Windows 2000 or XP:

When you're viewing the screen that you want to save/print, press Alt-"Prt Scr". Now open MS "Paint" by clicking on Start-All Programs-Accessories-Paint. When that opens, click on "Edit" in the upper left corner of Paint, choose "Paste". You should now have a picture of the top section of the Task Manager list. Save that picture with a file name.

Hope this helps.
