Print job on flash memory and printing from diff. computer

Jul 13, 2006 3:25PM PDT

XP
USB Flash memory 1.1 - 1GB
Canon Pixma iP 4200

I have work documents i dont want to print at home and then transport to work, nor do i want to open each one indivually and print them from a USB Flash memory card at work.

I want to print them to the USB Flash memory card as if spooling them to the printer, then as soon as i plug them into the USB port of the computer at work, the stored print jobs print to the computer's printer.

I have searched the internet without success as to how this could be accomplished.

Is it possible, if so, how? Any assistance appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Troy

Back in days of yore we could copy such to our printers but the world has changed...

I don't think so as I see it, you lost your "que" of print jobs as the system keeps track of that. You can't expect another system to immediately accept the print ques(those are immediate) and just take off. In other words it doesn't work that way. The current system tasks of queing for print jobs is only on that setup or network, once you break away from it, its lost. Unless, I misunderstood no work around.
