On top of sales, add 10% off, then another $10 off for first time subscriber at ShopOnkyo. I think these are refurbed.

TX-SR706S - $350

TX-SR806S - $440

TX-SR876S - $800

TX-NR906S - $890

Every two to four years about this time, I get pretty involved in another of my pursuits. Now that that's over, my interest is coming back. I'm going to buy my kid a plasma for Christmas so I went in last week for the first in a month or so. You're right though, I'm a Fry's groupie. So many unadvertised specials that it's like mining for gold. I thought about buying that receiver just in case I buy another TV for my living room. It all happened so fast that I can't explain how it happened but somehow, when I left, I still had money in my pocket.

See ya

campaign volunteering. If I had a shot at Scarlett Johansson, that would be the last of my $%#@ you guys, or any politicians, would ever hear of me again. Well Ok, until after the divorce. Altuism is Ok but I have a sell out price well below that.

I'm thinking either a 42 04 46" 1080p Pannasonic. Who knows though, if I see Fry's discount an older Panasonic model at a great price, I might go for it. I know 720p would be just as good but I'm afraid if I show up with less than 1080, he'll feel slighted.

See ya man

705 for $277??? Tell me this was Frys in Fremont. I've been tracking 705 and missed it when it was $400 on Amazon. Was it a refurb or open box?

Nope, not Fremont...

Irving TX and it was their display model. It's gone now, though.

Onkyo Deals
by hturner1949 / November 16, 2008 11:09 PM PST

Rats. By the time I saw your posting and joined ShopOnkyo, all the 806S had been snapped up. The only deal left was the 506 which is missing features I need. Ecost.com also has good deals on Denon and Onkyo. The 806s goes for $467 but is out of stock. 706B goes for $437 and is in stock. For the extra 30 bucks, I can wait for the 806s to replace my Yamaha RXV-2500.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
