-> Say, do you remember back in Windows NT 3.5 to NT 4.0 days when MSFT pulled back on features that had you moving from Workstation to Server versions to get what worked in Workstation on the prior version?
Same story here.

I've upgraded two HP notebooks to Win 7 Premium 64-bit recently and notice the Presentation mode missing from both computers (within the Windows Mobility Center). I did a Google search and found a recommendation to reinstall/repair my OS to get this feature back. I'm wondering if it's somehow disabled by default, or if it really isn't installed. Both computers were running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit before, and presentation mode was present and worked. Here are some details on my computers:
HP HDX16t (Intel C2D P8700, 4gb RAM, 320gb HDD, nvidia 9600m GT)
HP DV5tse (Intel C2D p7450, 4gb RAM, 320gb hdd, intel gma 4500hd)
I appreciate any help anyone can provide. And if I need to post more info on my problem, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Bob, for your response. I didn't even think to check Wikipedia. I found this on the MS website:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Adjust-settings-before-giving-a-presentation
It says "Applies to these editions of Windows 7:" and Home Premium is listed! That's misleading and they need to fix that!
I think it's pretty crappy that MS would remove a feature that was previously available in the version I was upgrading from! Maybe if enough people complain they'll make it available via download...yeah right. And, sorry I've never really worked with NT. But I think I understand your frustration now!
