Prefer me a tablet

Aug 23, 2013 10:11PM PDT

I am going to buy a tablet and my budget is Rs.10000 (price in India, equivalent to 160 usd). I am confused between two models. Please help me out which one to buy among these two.

1. Iball i9018 Specs:

Model ID Slide i9018

Processor: 1 GHz Cortex-A7 Dual Core

Graphics: Mali-400MP2

PLATFORM

Operating System: Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)

Sensors: Gravity Sensor

MEMORY: RAM 1 GB DDR3

Price : 9999

2.Iball 6318i

Model ID 6318i

Processor: 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A9

PLATFORM

Operating System: Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)

Sensors G-Sensor

MEMORY: RAM 1 GB DDR3

Price: 5299

I am confused because of the processor specs, because I have no idea which one is better. Tell me if there is any other tablet within my budget. It would be used for education and gaming.

We call those starter tablets.

That is, the ones you buy when you want one but can't commit to something like a Nexus. All seem to work for a year or 2 and die. I won't buy one. We did for a while at the office but the software bugs and no support makes them into a new category of tablets. -> The starter tablet.

Let me be specific.

The seller should answer this now. If they don't you have discovered how much support you'll get.

Good way to test them today.

There isn't that much different between the two...

as far as the cpu goes. I think the main difference is the screen size, hence the price. If you don't mind the smaller size then I would get the one with the cortex-A9.

I want a bigger screen

Thanks Oldartq for your reply. Actually I would like the bigger screen. So, as you say performance of 1.2 Ghz of A9 and 1Ghz of A7 doesn't differ much in performance. If you know any product in the market and has got better specs along with good reviews please tell me.

Thanks all of you.
