I'm not Robert or David so pardon my intrusion. I use Drive Image though others prefer Norton Ghost for the same purpose. The difference between Drive Copy and Drive Image is that Drive Copy is designed strictly to move data from one disk to another. It can resize the partition(s) as needed. Drive Image can do the same with it's "Disk to Disk" utility but its main feature is the ability to make a compressed image of an entire drive that can be kept on another drive or other media and used as an emergency restoration tool. With Drive Image, it is also possible to extract individual files from an image if necessary. Drive Copy costs a bit less so, it you are just interested in duplicating hard drives, it works well. Drive Image costs more and does more. Hope that helps.

Yes you could but I think it must be in another drive though whereas with drive image, you can have the image on cd disk/s plus a boot floppy (I think I am correct on this but it has been awhile).
