Powerstrip settings

K. I've got powerstrip and am about ready to dig in and work some trial and error, but in case someone else already has the same tv...

I have a Sony KDF42WE655, I'm hooking it up to a geforce 5200 via dvi-to-hdmi cable. Anyone have experience with this tv or card that might help me save some time (and frustration since I really don't know what I'm doing at this point).
